Diets don't work! All they do is teach you more bad hadits. Subconsciously you keep thinking that well if I eat less I can lose more. However this thought is really destructive for some people and you end up self sabotaging yourself. Did you know that you NEED a certain amount of calories to survive?!? Yep that's true. Our bodies don't run on fairy dust. Our bodies are incredible machines that needs to have optimal fuel. If you constantly starve yourself because your on some crazy diet or cleanse your body is going to go into a state where it starts to eat muscle mass instead of body fat. You will hold on to your body fat and also create a bad mental state for yourself, (if dieting alone didn't already cause you to be in a bad mood). Does this sound like fun? And then once your done with your diet you go back to the way you were eating to yoyo back through this cycle all over again!
STOP THE INSANITY!!!! SAY NO TO DIETS!
Instead of dieting why not just change your nutrition? Doesn't that sound nicer? Don't starve yourself, instead replace the bad eating habits for good ones. Replace that McDonald's lunch for a healthier option, Chipotle anyone? You don't have to replace meals with just salads, if you do add some protein and hold the dressing. Learn how to be smart about your nutrition. Eat 3-4 small healthy meals. Try your best to make sure each meal has some veggies. Drink water. Just stop the STUPID diets! Change your nutrition to learn how to have a more fulfilling, healthier, happier relationship with food. Food is your fuel. Your body is an amazing machine that needs high quality fuel. Treat it right and tie will perform better than you can imagine.
