"What you perceive, is what you believe, is what you'll achieve." What we tell ourselves in our own head can really influence our daily lives. No matter what you do in your everyday life this applies to everyone, an athlete, a mom, a business man, it doesn't matter.
Take a moment to think about the things, the goals you have in life. Now think of the things you subconsciously tell yourself in your head on a daily basis. Is it positive or negative? Do you beat yourself up when you mess up of do you look at things as learning opportunities and try to see the positive in every situation? These conversations will give you and insight on how you will perform and if you will reach your goal.
The more negative self talk will lead to negative results. Example: your taking a test, you can freak out, tell yourself that the questions are hard, you don't know and start freaking out, now your so focused on all the bad things that "could happen" if you don't ace this test..... OR You can focus on what you have control of, and repeat it. I know these answers, I studied well, I got this. You will stay more calm and focused. Which will ultimately effect your outcome.
What we see in our mind, becomes our subconscious beliefs of ourselves and ultimately what we will achieve in life. If you see yourself as a failure you'll fail or give up on your goals. If you see and believe you are meant for greatness you can achieve anything. If you struggle with negative self talk the best thing to do is surround yourself with positive people, people who will lift you up. Tell yourself positive DAILY affirmations. Say them so many times that you believe them. And look at failure as learning opportunities. You are meant for great things, its time you believe in yourself.
